NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety
Some people would think that after studying in 2012 to achieve a NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety there was no need for Stephanie Bessant TechIOSH to further her education but they would be wrong, Stephanie, who has a strong commitment to improving standards within the construction sector, took the decision to study for the NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety. Stephanie found the learning experience to be both challenging and informative and was delighted last week to receive notification that she passed with flying colours. What next then? Stephanie is now looking at her options but will definitely consider completing the Diploma and is investigating working with SME’s to provide an advisory Health and Safety Service.
In line with expecting the whole company to understand the need for safety Stephanie has also encouraged Senior Site Supervisors and the Production Manager to take and pass the SSSTS and SMSTS respectively.
